Responsibilities

LEARN Academy/Learn It Academic Services is looking for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to work in our K-8 classrooms engaging in small group pull-out therapy sessions.Sessions will take place in-person. This is a great opportunity to join a growing interdisciplinary team of professionals focused on creating exceptional learning experiences for children in need.

In this position you would be a part of an educational team consisting of a supervisor educators and fellow SLPs. This team works with the School District of Philadelphia to deliver the highest-quality occupational therapy to students who qualify. As a SLP you will work closely with school personnel and parents.

Responsibilities such as collaborating with the school to identify students delivering therapy in a small group or individual setting and tracking student progress are essential to the position. Classroom management and escorting students to and from class in order to provide a safe and positive learning environment that teachers will oversee are also key responsibilities.
