Speech Language Pathologist Full Time Location: Philadelphia PA
Schedule: Full-time 40 hours/week (part-time candidates will also be considered)
Duration: Through 01/30/2026 (with possibility of extension or conversion)
Pay Rate: $50/hour
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Independently evaluate pediatric patients with communication disorders using standardized and non-standardized tools.
- Document findings and develop individualized treatment plans with defined therapy goals.
- Monitor and record patient progress per established procedures.
- Educate and counsel patients families and caregivers on therapy programs.
- Collaborate with healthcare and educational professionals to support communication development.
Administrative Duties:
- Participate in team meetings clinical education sessions workgroups and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of clinical protocols.
- Assist with maintenance and ordering of equipment/supplies as needed.
Educational Responsibilities:
- Provide educational sessions for internal staff students and the broader community.
- Offer consultative services in external settings.
- Supervise and mentor student interns professional observers and clinical fellows.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in pediatric speech and language assessment tools and methods.
- Foundational research knowledge including methodology and statistics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of licensed experience required
- Preferred: Experience in pediatric medical-based settings
Licensure & Certification:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required upon hire
- Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey (must be obtained within 3 months of hire)
