About The Role
This role is a Senior Financial Analyst within the Corebridge Financial Distributors Finance team. Our team supports Life and Individual Retirement Distribution within Corebridge Financial Distributors through direct channel support and/or functional lead and consolidation.
Responsibilities
Act as a highly visible point of contact and work directly with senior management and cost center managers to provide financial support and analytics.
GOE & Headcount Budgeting Reporting and Analysis:
Work with senior management cost center managers external divisions (I/T HR FP&A product CFO areas etc.) to understand business needs anticipated changes and strategic initiatives to help develop the FD budget.
Create and maintain analysis against budget / forecast / prior period(s) and provide regular periodic reporting with summary of findings for senior management and cost center managers.
Develop ad hoc analyses and presentation materials as needed to support senior management and strategic initiatives (researching documenting impact driving resolution etc.).
Third Party Payment Management:
Provide administration and oversight over Revenue Sharing and Index Fee payments acting as the single point of contact for vendors management and external resource performing payment calculations.
Sales Incentive Compensation (SIC) Plan Administration and Analysis:
Perform day to day administration of SIC plans as assigned including payment calculation analysis and issue resolution.
Support annual SIC planning process by modeling various compensation change scenarios constructing presentations and coordinating with stakeholders across the organization.
Efficiencies / Automation:
Leverage best practices standardization automation and data visualization tools to create error-free and timely reporting and eliminate manual or low-value processes and activities where possible.
Perform ongoing expense processes (journal entries accrual vendor payments hierarchy maintenance etc.) as assigned.
Skills and qualifications
This role would suit candidates with a proven track record (3 years) in financial analysis budgeting & forecasting and financial impact modeling. MUST HAVE financial services experience.
B.A. / B.S. degree is required.
Advanced Excel skills along with a good level of experience in PowerPoint. Strong knowledge of SAP and BPC/EPM is a plus. Power BI knowledge a plus.
Experience administering sales incentive compensation plans is preferred. The ability to demonstrate mastery of sales compensation concepts (e.g. leverage caps types of payment models) is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of management and across functional areas.
Ability to plan work effectively in a high pressure fast paced environment while meeting tight deadline successfully with limited direction.
Highly motivated and organized with demonstrated ability to handle large amounts of data from multiple sources and create accurate and timely management quality reporting and analysis while managing conflicting priorities.
A team player with ability to work collaboratively with colleagues with various backgrounds.
Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this position is $93000 - $111000 at the commencement of employment. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be dependent on multiple factors which may include the candidates geographic location skills experience and other qualifications.
In addition the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan

Work Location
If the position is based in one of Corebridge Financials hub offices which is Houston TX Jersey City NJ. or Woodland Hills CA office the role is subject to our hybrid working policy which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely. However we are open to considering full remote candidates outside of these areas.
