Job Summary:
As a QA Tester/Analyst you will conduct automated and manual tests to ensure software performs adequately and meets the user requirements. The ideal candidate will plan construct and execute product tests system tests unit tests load tests volume tests penetration and network tests. You will work closely with members of NexGens internal and client teams including but not limited to subject matter experts technical leads and project managers to ensure customer satisfaction and drive innovative solutions while maintaining security standards. This position is remote.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (as assigned):
- Design test approaches and manage the end-to-end quality life cycle of DIIT projects.
- Develop and execute automated and manual test plans to validate functionality performance and scalability across Drupal and Power Apps-based solutions.
- Design and develop automated scripts using LoadRunner based on business use cases for the application.
- Design scenarios in LoadRunner to evaluate the performance of the application.
- Execute various types of performance tests such as load stress volume and endurance tests.
- Validate fail-over/recovery scenario and measure any impact to response times and interruptions during execution.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Technical Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a QA Tester/Analyst.
- Expertise in design development and creation of test plans and supporting test cases for computer systems and business applications based on business and functional requirements.
- Experience in LoadRunner scripting with protocols like Http HTML Webservices and True client.
- Exposure and experience in other popular performance tools such as Visual Studios Webload etc.
- Solid understanding of C language including data structures collections framework and multithreading.
- Experience with the following technologies: C C# Java LoadRunner Http HTML Webservices True client Visual Studios Webload App Dynamics Splunk SOAP UI/Rest client Microsoft Test Manager/Microsoft Coded UI or other testing suites.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems Computer Science or related discipline.
Required Certifications:
- ISTQB or CSTE certification.
- Advanced certification in LoadRunner from HP/MicroFocus.

- A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect sensitive but unclassified federal information.
- The successful candidate will also be able to pass background screening prior to employment.
- US Citizenship or legal permanent residence or US work authorization with minimum 3 years of continuous US presence is required due to federal contract requirements.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
