Chaplain of St. Giles Chapel

Deerfield is seeking a chaplain to join our spiritual life team providing care and support for the wellbeing of 650 residents and 350 staff. The work of the chaplain is ecumenical and inter-faith in practice and is welcoming of all who desire to be included. Deerfield is celebrating its 70th anniversary as an Episcopal retirement community and seeks to enrich the lives of those who live and work at Deerfield.
The Chaplain serves under the supervision of the Director of Spiritual Life
Under the supervision of the Director the Chaplain will make pastoral visits to:
The Chaplain will also make routine visits to residents especially to those in our Assisted Living and Skilled Care facilities and to anyone who has requested a visit.

Compensation and Benefits
Deerfield offers a highly competitive compensation package for this full-time position with benefits to include excellent health plan options retirement benefits professional development as well as state-of-the art facilities. The Chaplain is encouraged to take time off for self-care and vacations. Up to 40 paid hours per year may be taken for Continuing Education and/or spiritual renewal with tuition and travel expenses to be negotiated through the Director. Paid vacation is also provided.
