Job Description
Interested in driving impact to one of the fastest growing businesses at Amazon and working with one of the largest fraud prevention systems in the world Amazon B2B Payments and Lending (ABPL) is looking for a Sr. Fraud Analyst to manage our loss mitigation strategy for fraud or credit abuse. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing proactive and reactive fraud management strategies across different payment methods while balancing loss rates and customer experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently in a fast paced technical and high energy environment. They are critical thinkers analytical innovative and resourceful with a history of solving complex and ambiguous problems.
Key job responsibilities
-Own KPIs that measure fraud or abuse management performance.
-Perform large scale data analysis to understand fraud trends and insights to help improve our science models and features.
-Develop mitigation strategies against ongoing fraud attacks.
-Transform fraud insights into fraud mitigation strategies feature proposals or to inform business decisions.
-Support and deep dive fraud risks associated with payment method launches or underwriting experiments.

- 4 years of compliance program management legal governance audit risk/loss prevention or equivalent experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience with SQL and Excel
- Experience with research and investigation skills or equivalent
- Strong analytical and communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience establishing successful partnerships with internal and external teams to execute tactical initiatives or equivalent
- Experience working in commercial credit abuse or fraud management

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
