SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE
Fleet Insights & Tools team is an internal engineering team focussing on developing and maintaining test automation infrastructure frameworks and tools to ensure high-quality feature development and seamless testing that bolsters and streamlines the development cycle of FlashBlade and FlashArray products and features. As an automation Frameworks & Tools Engineer you will work with all internal engineering teams to avoid any bottlenecks in our testing and delivery processes. Engineers in the ORE organization possess excellent communication and analytical skills with a mix of software systems and data science expertise. They are passionate about designing and building great services and have experience with building tools services and automation to manage and improve our operations.
What youll be doing:
- Develop automated test framework for software-based all-flash storage arrays
- Lead/participate in the design and development of infrastructure tools & automation for our automated testing environments
- Build debug tools and analyze test failures across a multi-machine hardware/software stack within a continuous integration automation framework
- Analyze and solve challenging problems through persistence and insight
- Work as a team with smart peers who inspire you and who are inspired by you
- Make customers really happy because thats why we do what we do
- Learn a ton whether you know a lot or nothing about system software
- You will be based in Bengaluru India. As this is an office-centric role you are expected to be present in the office.

WHAT YOULL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- 8 years experience using Python Go Java C C or related programming languages (< 1 year experience We have special opportunities for you! Please apply directly to our University roles on our careers page)
- Experience in any number of related systems software projects e.g: Distributed systems Operating systems Linux Kernel Database internals Hypervisors Containers Compiler Optimization etc.
- Proven design sensibility and the willingness to work in a collaborative team oriented environment
- A BS degree in Computer Science; Advanced degrees are a bonus!
- Must be willing and able to work in an open office environment.
