About the Role
Were looking for a skilled IT Project Manager to lead and support IT initiatives primarily focusing on software solution migration projects. In this role youll manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to close-out ensuring the successful delivery of solutions. Youll work closely with both IT and business units demonstrating expertise in project planning stakeholder engagement risk management and leading cross-functional teams. Experience in Organizational Change Management (OCM) is a significant asset.
Responsibilities
As an IT Project Manager you will:
Lead and facilitate the complete project lifecycle including planning design testing training product demos and solution adoption.
Manage solution adoption strategies as part of a multi-disciplinary project team.
Oversee vendor relationships and coordinate issue resolution.
Collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders to achieve desired project outcomes.
Facilitate on-the-job learning of essential concepts and tools to promote modern service delivery and transformation.
Identify and proactively manage project risks and issues developing mitigation strategies.
Navigate and manage changes in project direction priorities and expectations to ensure successful completion.
Improve transparency and disseminate information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through effective communication.
Negotiate resource requirements to adjust the project team as needed to meet commitments.
Identify and remove roadblocks and distractions affecting the project lifecycle.
Mitigate and resolve conflicts within the project.
Maintain metrics using project management tools to provide visibility on project progress and quality assurance.
Manage project stakeholders including progress and financial reporting.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role youll need:
Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall Project Management methodologies.
5 years of project management experience.
Experience with application development methodologies.
Minimum 5 years of progressive Information Technology experience and a broad knowledge of IT.
PMP and/or PRINCE2 certification.
