Job Description
Develop and execute assigned portfolio of projects supporting continuous improvements of safety reliability facility optimization and other values at our Corpus Christi Liquefaction facility. Oversee the safe and efficient development and of capital and expense projects at the facility. Complete site walk-downs to support project development requirements. Ensure technical integrity of the project including compliance with the project scope specifications sound engineering judgement and Cheniere basic engineering design documents. Support all phases of the project and lead the coordination of work including safety process design front end engineering and design detailed design procurement cost control schedules quality construction planning planning and commissioning. Coordinate plan schedule and execute technical activities for assigned plant projects. Monitor and control expenditures within limitations of project budget. Deliver projects that ensure safe reliable and efficient LNG operations which are executed on time and on budget. Manages portfolio of projects and provide key input into the 5-year CAPEX plan for the site. Oversee all phases of project development and with an emphasis on safety and performance specifications. Lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and designers from engineering and construction contractors assigned to projects. Assure as-built and project close out documentation is completed and stored in document control systems. Comply with the technical Management of Change (MOC) process and utilize it in support of capital projects and routine facility changes. Participate in regulatory agency audits. Work with Engineering and Construction department to provide support and assure O & M interests are represented on major projects. Participate in equipment factory acceptance tests (FATs) and site acceptance tests (SATs).Full time employment Monday Friday 40 hours per REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors degree in Chemical Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field and 7 years of project management and engineering work experience in the job offered or role similar to Project Engineer. Of the required experience employer also requires the following:7 years of experience with design and engineering activities related to any combination of oil refining petrochemical specialty chemicals hydrocarbon pipelines or LNG processing storage and transportation; 7 years of experience with project development and management through a stage-gated approach to progress an opportunity from project feasibility to design and development to its implementation and commissioning;7 years of experience identifying and managing risks arising from the implementation of Brownfield Projects utilizing the Management of Change (MOC) process;7 years of experience creating and delivering industry-specific presentations; and7 years of experience communicating project updates and related issues at all levels of an organization to individuals and groups from different disciplines industries and governmental the required experience employer requires 2 years of experience working at an operating facility such as oil refining petrochemical or specialty chemical plant midsteam storage or LNG APPLY: Send resume to referencing Job Code: KBGFJG239150-4
