Job Description
Madison Heights MI
Were seeking a Plant Controller to support operations and finance at our main manufacturing site. Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing Finance this role is a key partner to Plant Leadership and responsible for operations finance cost control and performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Plant Director and Operations teams (Engineering Quality Safety Logistics)
- Manage cost accounting inventory controls and standard costing
- Analyze production inventory and variance data; recommend improvements
- Support capex and new product cost modeling
- Contribute to S&OP budgeting forecasting and month-end close
- Track key plant KPIs and prepare monthly performance reports
- Bachelors in Finance Accounting or related field
- 5 10 years in manufacturing finance or cost accounting
- Experience in CPG or food industry preferred
- Strong Excel ERP and financial modeling skills
- Knowledge of SAP or SAGE X3 a plus
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- CPA or CMA; food manufacturing experience
