About:
We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead and manage the Production Department. This role involves supervising staff maintaining production schedules ensuring safety standards and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support production staff; assign tasks and set schedules.
- Hire train coach and evaluate team members; enforce company policies.
- Maintain safety cleanliness and compliance with ISO 9001 5S KAIZEN etc.
- Track inventory order supplies and manage PPE.
- Lead toolbox talks and communicate shop updates.
- Ensure on-time production and coordinate activities to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with engineering on product/design issues.
- Verify accurate timecard submissions.
- Secure facility at shift end and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize delegate and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to interpret blueprints.
- Available to work night shift.
- Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous strong performance in a similar role preferred.
