Job Description
Internal Medicine/General Permanent Role
- Location: Plano TX 75093
- Shift: Full-Time Days 08:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
- Compensation: Based on experience
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations of adult patients
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop and manage treatment plans in collaboration with patients
- Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Perform routine preventive care including annual wellness exams
- Coordinate care with specialists and other providers as needed
- Document all encounters accurately and timely in the EMR
- Educate patients on disease prevention wellness and healthy lifestyle choices
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review activities
- Maintain compliance with all applicable laws regulations and organizational policies
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (required)
- Current and unrestricted Texas medical license.
- DEA license.
- BLS/ACLS certification
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
