Job Description

Tasks

As our Finance Manager you will join us on a part-time basis (5080%) and work closely with our Senior Executives and external tax consultants to ensure the transparency and integrity of our financial operations. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial processes and fostering a healthy financial environment.

  • Accounts Payables and Receivables: Manage accounts payable and receivable overseeing cash flow and liquidity.
  • Financial Data Management: Maintain and update master financial data within our FP&A tools ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage & execute the budgeting and forecasting processes ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Financial Reporting and Document Management: Prepare periodic and ad-hoc financial reports in collaboration with our external tax consultant while also managing & organizing financial documents.
  • External Partner Management: Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions to support financing needs and strategic partnerships.
  • Tax and Accounting Support: Provide support on various tax-related and accounting topics ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously define and improve our financial planning & accounting processes to boost efficiency & accuracy.

Requirements

Essential skills and experiences:

  • Native-level proficiency in German is required with fluent English proficiency to ensure effective communication
  • A degree in Controlling Finance or a related field
  • 3 years of professional experience in Financial Planning and Accounting
  • Expert-level proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with common accounting software (SevDesk DATEV or similar)
  • Experience in a startup environment is an advantage
  • Experience with CRM/ERP software (e.g. Salesforce SAP Lexware or similar) is an advantage
  • Must be based in Munich or able to commute to our Munich office at least once a week
