MD DNB Internal Medicine Consultant
The MD DNB Internal Medicine Consultant plays a pivotal role in our healthcare organization. As a specialist in internal medicine the consultant is responsible for diagnosing treating and managing a wide range of adult diseases and complex medical conditions. This role is critical to ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and holistic care focusing not only on specific health issues but also on preventive medicine and overall well-being. The consultant will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centric services thereby enhancing the quality of healthcare delivery. The Internal Medicine Consultant will contribute to the education and training of residents and other healthcare staff promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments.
- Diagnose a wide array of diseases and complex medical conditions.
- Develop tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide comprehensive preventive care and health education.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.
- Lead and educate medical residents or junior doctors.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and lab work.
- Manage chronic conditions and multiple comorbidities.
- Document patient interactions accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families.

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of medical practice.
- Assist in outpatient and inpatient care as required.
Required Qualifications:
- MD or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution.
- DNB in Internal Medicine or equivalent postgraduate certification.
- Active medical license to practice in the relevant state or region.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong background in evidence-based medicine.
- Section of experience in patient management and treatment.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in electronic medical record systems and health technology.
