Job Description
As a Junior Steel Detailer youll be trained in Tekla Structures and work closely with engineers and shop staff to translate architectural and structural drawings into accurate steel models and fabrication documents.
What You ll Do:
Translate structural and architectural drawings into 3D steel models and shop drawings
Learn and use Tekla Structures to create fabrication-ready documents
Solve constructability issues before they reach the field
Collaborate with engineers project managers and fabricators
Help deliver real projects on short timelines
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture Engineering or related design field
- Basic experience or familiarity with CAD tools (Revit AutoCAD Rhino etc.)
- Comfortable interpreting construction documents or blueprints
- Willingness to learn Tekla Structures software
- Detail-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Willing to relocate to Kingsport TN within 8 weeks
