- The Business Analyst is responsible for collaborating with VPs AVPs Business Units and end users to capture and translate business requirements into clear actionable specifications that support the design development and testing of complex software and/or data warehouse applications.
- This role acts as a key liaison between stakeholders including VPs AVPs business users developers and analyststo ensure that software solutions align with business goals.
- In addition to requirements gathering and documentation the Business Analyst coordinates closely with development teams to clarify requirements and validate deliverables. The role also includes hands-on involvement in testing activities to ensure quality and alignment with business expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders including VPs and AVPs to drive the product roadmap and prioritize initiatives.
- Work with business stakeholders VPs and AVPs to accurately capture all requests and translate them into comprehensive system specifications including functional non-functional user interface reporting and external interface requirements.
- Coordinate with developers to ensure that the technical implementation aligns with the intended business functionality and roadmap.
- Partner with Analyst to ensure thorough testing of all software components and actively participate in Quality Assurance activities as needed.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on feasible functionality and recommend optimal sequencing for delivery.
- Proactively manage requirements-related risks by identifying tracking and communicating issues and developing mitigation strategies.
- Liaise with other project and program teams to coordinate interdependence and resolve cross- functional issues.
- Analyze document and communicate both current and future state business processes.
- Support stakeholders by resolving complex user inquiries and system-related issues.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices in business analysis.
Qualifications :
- Self-motivated and proactive capable of completing tasks with minimal supervision.
- Deep expertise in business analysis methodologies techniques and deliverables.
- Strong understanding of underwriting process improvements and digital enablement including portals and APIs.
- Experience in user experience (UX) design for web- based applications.
- Proficient in Agile software development methodologies including backlog grooming sprint planning and iterative delivery.
- Exceptional analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with VPs AVPs developers and analyst.
- Skilled in gathering business requirements and translating them into detailed system specifications for enhancements projects and issue resolution.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to support stakeholders on complex system issues.
- Solid understanding of the intersection between technology and business operations.

Additional Information :
Four-year college degree or equivalent industry experience.
