The Motion Control Systems (MCS) Division of AMC is seeking a Senior Director of Global Operations. Reporting to the VP/GM of the Division this growth-focused leader will lead operations across 5 plants located across the United States Mexico Czech Republic & China and be a key member of the division leadership team.
Location: Preference is for the role to be based in Radford VA (relocation provided) but will consider remote candidates as well.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and strategicSeniorDirectorofOperationsto oversee and optimize our globaloperations. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in managing large-scaleoperations driving efficiency and leading cross-functional teams across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & Effective Problem Solving
Lead the Divisionoperationsteam to deliver on Annual Operating Plan (AOP) monthly quarterly and annually.
Set and achieve short and long-term SQDCG and financial objectives by implementing a strategic vision that is broken into actionable strategies and tactics. Knows what good looks like and has the ability to coach and develop a leadership team.
Ensures accountability and enables the predictability of outcomes for each plant. Determines root cause of issues quickly and effectively puts countermeasures in place to support improvement.
Lead and drive the Regal Rexnord Business System which includes 80/20 lean principles and Continuous Improvement.
Skilled and experienced in decomposing a strategic vision into actionable strategies and tactics that can be cascaded to every manufacturing facility.
Establish and sustain strong plant floor visual KPIs and daily management a GEMBA culture and robust problem-solving methodologies.
P&L Leadership - Business Partner
Ability to work as a member of the leadership team to develop and communicate a future vision for the business.
Partners with VP/GM and leadership team on the overall strategy of the business supports the establishment of a Policy Deployment X-matrix and drives PD initiatives aligned tooperationswith urgency and a high say/do.
Responsible for synthesizing action plans timelines and budgets for projects/goals and adjusting these plans accordingly to effectively respond to changing demands of the business.
Talent Management
Develop a high-performing team by engaging coaching and developing team members and by driving accountability and ownership at all levels. Builds a team where all site leaders are top talent with a strong say/do and continuous improvement mindset.
Serve as an advocate for our top talent building strong succession plans to enable increased velocity. Be a champion of promoting diversity engagement and inclusion in and across the organization.

Expected salary: $200000 - $230000 annually incentives. The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the companys base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors including but not limited to the physical worksite location candidates skill set level of experience education and internal peer compensation comparisons.
