Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired employees will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.

This is a Full Time Exempt position
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for supervising all farmerstock drying bail-out and storage operations operated by location staff
- Assists management team with operational activities associated with the storage and handling of farmerstock peanuts
- Leading and assisting with farmerstock bail-out operations of assigned warehouses
- Maintain and improve methods of handling product delivered from producers
- Maximize and look for ways to improve quality and value of stored peanuts
- Perform and supervise bail-out processes according to policies and guidelines
- Know and continue to learn new ways to store handle and bail-out farmerstock in order to minimize Aflatoxin growth weight loss and dollar value loss
- Maintain ongoing pest control operations of farmerstock storage facilities
- Maintain and enforce all safety procedures outlined in Company written programs
- Work with location manager on all aspects of Sphera
- Further responsibilities include working cooperatively with management team co-workers and multiple buying and storage locations
- Carryout duties associated with cold storage facility including food safety plan and facilitate loading and unloading of shelled goods
- Role requires 2 to 5 years of progressive experience in a production environment; college or trade school in equivalent field may be substituted
- Must have and maintain valid drivers license
- Must demonstrate strong decision making and leadership skills
- Ability to learn and understand necessary quality controls and procedures
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must have good computer skills and be able to use Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability and desire to plan organize and multi-task with limited direct supervision
- Willingness to traveling short distances to perform duties (within daily driving distance)
- Strong desire to set a good example with punctuality attendance and attention to detail
- Must demonstrate high level of initiative problem solving and team working skills
