We are seeking expressions of interest from motivated and skilled professionals for a 12-month opportunity as Senior Finance Systems Analyst within the Corporate Services Cluster Finance team.
In this role you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the departments financial systems (MyOutcomes) and processes to enable efficient analysis and reporting that supports quality business outcomes. You will contribute to the review configuration and testing of finance systems to ensure they align with accounting standards and best practices in financial management. You will also play a vital role in the delivery of end-to-end system processes financial operations and cross-functional collaboration to enhance system efficiency and data quality.
This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities including oversight of system configuration and master data coordination of critical month-end and year-end activities providing clear and expert advice to both financial and non-financial stakeholders and driving system enhancements through collaborative projects and user training.

What you will bring to the role
- Strong ability to manage financial information systems while minimising business disruption and downtime.
- Proven experience in handling time-sensitive tasks and high-pressure environments while maintaining quality outcomes.
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively managing priorities and contributing to strategic goals.
- Demonstrated skills in problem-solving critical thinking and implementing effective and innovative solutions.
- Capability to manage competing deadlines and deliver consistent outcomes aligned with business needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills to influence system improvements and service delivery.
Essential requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting Commerce or similar discipline
- Strong information technology skills including application support system design report generation and demonstrated experience in building and implementing new financial information management systems and system upgrades.
