Job Description
As the Technical Security Architect you will
- Lead the design integration and testing of secure IT solutions ensuring interoperability with existing systems and alignment with customer requirements.
- Develop and evaluate proofs of concept for new technologies assessing integration feasibility performance and compliance with operational needs.
- Collaborate with system network and security teams across multiple stakeholders to ensure successful configuration deployment and governance compliance (e.g. data segregation and retention).
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation including architecture overviews interface specifications and storage/retention guidelines.
- Guide or contribute to security posture improvements driving adoption of best practices and alignment with evolving industry frameworks.
- Provide technical leadership or mentorship to security-focused personnel and teams.
- Assist in the development and review of security policies and support executive-level briefings and written communications as needed.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
- BA/BS Degree in Information Technology Cybersecurity or a related field (6 years additional experience may be substituted for a degree)
- DoD 8570 IAT II Certification (i.e. Security CCNA-Security CND CySA GICSP GSEC SSCP)
- 10 years of experience including hands on expertise architecting and deploying cloud security solutions.
- Expert knowledge of cybersecurity and risk assessment policies and procedures.
- Understanding of Federal Records Act (FRA) and Presidential Records Act (PRA) requirements
- Experience drafting and/or supporting the development of cybersecurity policies in Federal Government environments.
