Job Description

As aFront-End Engineer at Via youll be an integral part of our London team driving the development of user-facing features that directly impact our products and customers. Youll collaborate closely with product managers designers and other engineers to build and enhance front-end tools that elevate the experience for users delivering innovative and high-performing solutions. Your work will focus on creating seamless intuitive interfaces from scratch and continuously optimizing existing features to improve usability and drive product success. What Youll Do:
- Design and implement user-facing features by building new components pages and modals using React and TypeScript.
- Integrate the latest third-party libraries to ensure scalability maintainability and performance while adhering to best practices.
- Write clean and efficient front-end code for Vias app used by 600 partners across the world to enable efficient equitable and affordable transportation for everyone elderly citizens people with disabilities school children and commuters
- Collaborate with talented full-stack and back-end engineers product designers and product managers to create user-centric and visually appealing products
- Stay up to date with new technology trends applications and protocols
Who You Are:
- BSc. Computer Science or similar.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience - Must.
- Experience with React - Must.
- Strong knowledge of Typescript/Javascript - Must.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
- Experience with map applications / gis related is an advantage.
