Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

Since PAXLOVIDs emergency use authorization on 12/22/21 PAXLOVID has helped treat over 23M patients at high-risk from progression to severe COVID-19 which can lead to hospitalization and/or death. Now that PAXLOVID is FDA approved and commercialized in the U.S. this novel protease inhibitor is positioned to remain the gold standard in COVID-19 treatment despite potential competitive entry in 2026. Significant opportunity to increase treatment rates for eligible patients and bolster PAXLOVIDs leadership position in the marketplace continues as new clinical data RWE and label indications are anticipated throughout 2025 and beyond.

This U.S. PAXLOVID HCP Senior Manager will report directly to the U.S. PAXLOVID HCP Marketing Team Lead and have accountability for supporting critical HCP promotion tactics and strategy. This role will partner across the U.S. PAXLOVID Brand Team to optimize HCP education being pushed through various channels to help drive broad awareness about new data while maximizing HCP engagement to improve appropriate treatment rates. This is a fantastic time in the brands lifecycle to help optimize personal and non-personal tactics enhance HCP media investment and targeting and ensure critical omnichannel performance assessment. This role will also carry through impactful new messaging into a high-visibility high-impact workstream called PAX-celerate. They will lead the development of creative that will deploy to targeted HCP segments and leverage data triggers to deploy the right message to the right customer at the right time timed to COVID waves. Lastly this role will also lead activities related to label updates for the HCP team.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support personal and non-personal strategy and execution plan ensuring optimal approach to pulling through core brand messaging
  • Collaborate across internal and external stakeholders to pull through digital media and messaging strategy: brand team Pfizer digital medical RC media lab CMO communications antiviral CMO and agency partners.
  • Partner with CMO to capture omnichannel measurement and ROI performance helping to enable quicker pivots to accelerate appropriate COVID-19 Tx uptake.
  • Leverage HCP segmentation and data-based triggers to optimize messaging both in COVID waves and during low seasons
  • Hold self and team accountable for deliverables and positive performance while fostering positive culture.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree with 4 years of relevant experience; masters degree preferred.
  • Experience successfully converting market and stakeholder insights into actionable strategies and tactics.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize/focus/multi-task effectively
  • Change agile and dependable; ability to turn around deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills including to internal and external senior leaders.
  • Strong strategic skills including creativity and effectiveness in identifying and managing major strategic challenges; can manage through ambiguity.
  • Ability and eagerness to challenge status quo act decisively and operate successfully in an empowered organization.
  • A commitment to excellence both in the results achieved and in how they are achieved.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters degree preferred.
  • US Marketing experience including working with agencies and Review Committee
  • Pharmaceutical marketing experience
  • Experience with Digital and Media

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120800.00 to $201400.00.* In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. * The annual base salary for this position in Tampa FL ranges from $108700.00 to $181100.00.
