Food Service Retail Associate
Part and Full Time Opportunities Available
Food is our specialty at Dorothy Lane Market and were proud to offer the very best in prepared options. From stunning entres and salads in our gourmet delicatessen to in-store eats like hot DLM Homemade Soups and Naples-Style Pizza we offer a bountiful array of exquisite foods crafted using the finest ingredients. As we prepare for our upcoming location in Mason Ohio we are seeking enthusiastic service-minded candidates to join our retail Food Service team to deliver top-notch customer service alongside amazing eats. If you love people and good food join us in making The DLM Experience come alive in Mason.
We have both full and part-time opportunities with scheduling for both day and evening positions in a variety of roles including:
- Deli
- Sandwich Station
- Naples-Style Pizza
- Grab and Go Production
- Catering and Boxed Lunch Production
What Youll Do:
- Serve customers with enthusiasm and expertise.
- Take orders with accuracy and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
- Package and label product with care.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the department.
- Operate department equipment such slicers or ovens.
- Prepare products following standardized recipes and portion controls.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the department.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at every step.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A desire to make folks happy by providing Honestly Better Food and Service.
- A willingness to learn about and taste great food.
- A willingness to practice theDLM Team Values:Be Honest Safe Helpful and Hard-Working
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- 18 years old or older.
- Holiday and weekend schedule availability.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Lifting up to 40 pounds.
