Apple Autos is seeking an experienced and dynamic Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department and continue delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction. The Automotive Service Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the service department ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and maintaining efficient and profitable operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills a deep understanding of automotive systems and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Ford dealership experience is highly preferred.
What Youll Do
- Oversee and manage the service department team including hiring training and supervising technicians advisors and support staff.
- Ensure efficient scheduling of work shifts and proper staffing levels to meet service demand.
- Interact with customers to understand their service needs provide estimates and explain repair details.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving complaints promptly and effectively.
- Manage the workflow and ensure timely completion of repairs and services.
- Maintain accurate service records and manage documentation processes.
- Monitor budgets expenses and revenue for the service departments.
- Set pricing for service and repairs and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet financial goals.
- Ensure all work meets industry standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks on completed jobs.
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and promote a safe work environment.
- Work closely with the parts department and other dealership teams.
- Maintain compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
What Youll Bring
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive service management or a similar role.
- Ford dealership experience strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive systems repair techniques and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to manage budgets set pricing and monitor financial performance.
- Proficiency in using service management software and other relevant computer applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Regularly required to:

- Speak and hear
- Use close vision abilities
- Operate a vehicle with a valid drivers license
- Occasionally required to:
- Lift or move up to 50 lbs
