TECHNICIAN SUPPORT CAREER STREAM:
Technicians must be able to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently. This includes understanding how to troubleshoot mechanical electrical or software-related problems in machines or production lines. The ability to read and interpret schematics manuals and error logs is essential to solve issues swiftly and minimize downtime.
A solid understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment is a must. Technicians need to have knowledge of different manufacturing systems (e.g. CNC machines robotics automated systems) and be able to perform basic maintenance and repairs. This may require familiarity with programming calibration and system optimization.
Precision is critical in manufacturing. Technicians need to ensure that systems are operating at optimal levels and any discrepancies are detected early. Whether its performing quality control checks calibrating machines or following safety procedures attention to detail is crucial to maintaining the quality and efficiency of production.
Provides technical support in areas such as production operations maintenance safety testing process improvement or product development.
Uses schematics diagrams written and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components equipment or systems.
