Your Job
What this role looks like.
- Analysing and evaluating current internal ALDI applications and IT infrastructure
- Providinge technical consultation regarding the scope of IT application/system decommissioning
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify infrastructure needs
- Assisting in the integration of new applications and services into the existing infrastructure
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of hosting services and best practices
- Documenting processes and maintaining updated records of configurations and changes
- Conducting training sessions for staff to optimisze the use of internal applications
- Helping to identify needed retention data and help to prepare required reports on the target platform
Your Profile
What you bring with you.
- Bachelors degree in IT computer science or a related field
- Proven experience and background related to retail IT applications (technical understanding)
- Strong knowledge of databases networking and cloud hosting solutions
- Familiarity with processes and tools related to application integration
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities
Desirable extras.
- Experience with enterprise-level IT solutions
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g. AWS Azure networking certifications)
- Previous experience in the retail or grocery industry is a plus
