Heres a rare chance to become a Lifestyle Host/Reporter who will excel at WTSP the TEGNA-owned CBS affiliate in Tampa FL. This exciting role requires a blend of shooting writing editing producing and hosting skills to create compelling content that celebrates the people places and culture of Tampa Bay. Strong social media skills and an understanding of how to extend storytelling across digital platforms are essential. In this role the Lifestyle Host/Reporter will be responsible for producing content for all platforms and enterprise original and integration segments. This role has some sales responsibilities for generating new business as this is a client-facing role.

The ideal candidate understands how to create compelling content for broadcast digital platforms and social media that drives engagement and builds brand trust.
Responsibilities:
Host Great Day Live Tampa from our WTSP studios with occasional on-location duties appear in digital and social video content and perform other on-air duties as assigned five days a week.
Research topics learn about guests and do whatever it takes to be sharp and prepared for every interview.
Work with our sales team and sponsors to help them achieve their goals and bring integrated sales content to life.
Book write and produce segments.
Collaborate with producers on show editorial pitching segments booking interviews and developing new ideas.
Write and produce segments and edit teases and taped interviews as required.
Publish videos to the web post photo and video content to social media and engage viewers in real-time.
And all other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate
Requirements:
A minimum of five years of experience with live pre-produced content and on-air delivery preferably in an integration show setting.
Exceptional writing proficiency for broadcast digital and social platforms.
Strong time management production management and project management skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain on-air chemistry with co-host show guests build professional relationships and interact effectively with diverse individuals.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to actively work across departments.
Demonstrated working knowledge of content development best practices across social media platforms and channels. Proficient in and actively using social media channels e.g. Instagram YouTube LinkedIn and Facebook
Knowledge of ENPS video editing and remote production tools is a plus
Occasional night and weekend community appearances may be required.
