Job Description:
This opening is for an Inventory Management Support position within the Logistics organization. The candidate will be responsible for the operations of multiple functions within a production environment. The qualified candidate will be responsible for coordinating and interfacing with Customers Production areas Program Offices and bargaining unit employees. Candidates will be responsible for assigning tasks to employees related to the dispatching of individuals to perform activities such as aircraft fueling transportation requests crane operation in support of aircraft and expedited internal material deliveries.
Candidates must possess an attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position is for an individual contributor however candidates will support personnel across multiple shift assignments as well as multi-level management.
Essential Functions:
Experience within transportation specifically dispatching
Experience within a production environment including material handling
Ability to communicate with multiple levels of employees including management
Proficient in use of computers and electronic processing systems
Ability to work independently and as a group/team Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesQualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Minimum 2 years experience using Microsoft Office software (Word Excel Outlook)
