You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailDesign and develop innovative mechanical systems components and products from concept through production.
Drive engineering changes to improve existing products ensuring compatibility and performance for the installed base.
Optimize designs to enhance Variable Cost Productivity (VCP) by improving material selection manufacturing processes or component efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. manufacturing quality and service) to ensure designs meet performance cost and serviceability requirements.
Perform technical analyses simulations and testing to validate new designs and engineering changes.
Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings specifications and documentation for new products and modifications.
Support prototyping testing and troubleshooting of mechanical systems for both new and existing products.
Ensure designs comply with industry standards safety regulations and company requirements.
Contribute technical expertise to project teams ensuring timely delivery of engineering deliverables.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance as needed.
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
Experience in mechanical design product development and driving engineering changes for new and existing products.
Demonstrated ability to improve Variable Cost Productivity (VCP) through design or process optimization.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. CREO SolidWorks or similar).
PLM software PTC Windchill or similar.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles materials manufacturing processes and cost optimization techniques.
Experience with FEA CFD or other simulation tools is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to technical challenges.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Strong communication skills to convey technical information to diverse stakeholders.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (ISO13485) is preferred.
Full-time hands-on engineering role.
