The Private Client Trainee is a short term role designed to fast track licensing individuals who have a passion and desire to become a Private Client Advisor but do not currently hold all required licenses. The full responsibility while in role is to study and test for successful completion of all required licenses. After successfully achieving licenses individual will be placed into a PCA role The PC Trainee must be able to meet the requirements as outlined in this job description.
The Private Client Advisors focus will be on our Mass Affluent client base with planning and financial wellness as the basis of their methodology and will lead with these concepts. The Advisor will be the primary provider of investment services to KeyBank Mass Affluent clients by providing investment solutions to new and existing clients while identifying full relationship opportunities. Establish a strong partnership with Retail Branch Managers teams and Centers of Influence and maintain strong working relationships with all partners.
At completion of the trainee program must hold FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65); state Life & Health Insurance License.
To be considered for trainee role must minimumally have completed the SIE at the time of hire
Minimum of 5 years of financial sales experience
Broad knowledge of characteristics and needs of clients and partners within the bank- based investment market space.
Demonstrated ability to sell products and services to investment clients; evidence of strong sales results.
Strong client centric focus.
Proven ability to work as a collaborative team member.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary rate of $62400 annually. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
