ROLE SUMMARY

The Associate I Operational Excellence will support the improvement of performance of the will focus participating in Continuous Improvement Events capturing accurate data executing time studies and providing process improvement suggestions to contribute to completion of project tasks and milestones. The role will support IMEx Deployment & Maturity and support projects as needed.

You will work with teams to execute improvement projects. Your organizational skills will help us integrate our continuous improvement programs across the organization both vertically and horizontally. Your knowledge will ensure that the improvement programs yield results and strengthen the overall business strategies. You will work support improvement projects and establish and maintain performance metrics to measure program success. Through your domain knowledge and commitment you will create a collaborative team environment for your colleagues.

This position will report to the Operational Excellence Lead within the Focus Factory.

It is your dedication and hard work that will make it possible for Pfizers customers and patients to receive the medicines they need when they need them.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Events (Yellow Belt Green Belt).
  • Capture timely and accurate data for studies or improvement projects
  • Execute time and work cell design studies
  • Provide suggestions on process improvements
  • Focus on IMEx Deployment & Maturity Cost Improvement Projects GEMBA Adherence Schedule Attainment Right First Time Cycle Time Reduction and On-Time In-Full

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Applicant must have a bachelors degree with 0 years of experience; OR an associates degree with 4 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 6 years of relevant experience
  • Relevant education and experience in continuous improvement and lean methodologies.
  • Experience in participating in Continuous Improvement Events data analysis lean and/or six sigma project management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Yellow Belt certification.
  • Experience in data analysis and project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in regulated/GMP environment

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $58500.00 to $97500.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
