Job Description

Reservoir Leak Tester

A reservoir leak tester is responsible for detecting and locating leaks in welded reservoirs using specialized tools and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and specifications to understand the testing objectives and requirements.
  • Operate and maintain testing tools and equipment.
  • Conduct tests on reservoirs using proven methods.
  • Monitor and record testing data and results.
  • Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace and follow safety rules and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve testing issues and problems.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • Ability to use testing tools and equipment and perform calculations.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Minimum physical requirements include lifting moderate weight up to 50lbs standing for long periods.
  • Ability to work on a team and follow directions.
