Were looking for an experienced and highly organizedProject Managerto join our growing team in our brand-newBurnaby Vancouver office. In this pivotal role youll take full ownership of project delivery from start to finishoverseeing labour management procurement cost control subcontractor coordination scheduling and client communication. Youll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time on budget and to the highest standards while building strong relationships with clients suppliers and internal teams.

The expected salary range for this position is $145000 to $160000

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in estimating turnover and pre-construction meetings
  • Support the project Foreman with execution planning and guidance
  • Manage on-site labour and ensure workforce productivity
  • Prepare accurate monthly financial forecasts and participate in Project Status Review (PSR) meetings
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers; review contracts and ensure quality cost and schedule adherence
  • Attend client and construction meetings; communicate updates to internal teams and subcontractors
  • Assist with estimating as needed

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
  • Proven experience managing ICI projects with significantHVACSheet MetalPlumbing and/orpipingscope
  • Post-secondary education inMechanicalEngineering or a related field
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings specifications and contract terms
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Proficiency in project financial controls and forecasting
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and travel to site locations as needed
  • Familiarity with QA/QC and Health & Safety practices
  • A track record that clearly demonstrates effective leadership when interacting with multiple external clients
  • Proven ability to create and maintain effective relationships with clients vendors subcontracts architects designers field superintendents and staff

Assets:

  • Design/build project experience
  • Experience in the Vancouver British Columbia market
