Minimum Qualifications:
Current American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certification.
Successful Candidates Will Possess the Following:
A minimum of two (2) years of independent post-Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)experience in pediatric outpatient settings.
Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in treating complex pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders.
Qualifications:
Current Montana Speech/Language Pathology license OR must obtain within 30 days of hire.
Graduate of an accredited SLP program.
HS AED CPR/BLS HCP certification required or must obtain within 6 months.
2 years of experience in the specialty area preferred.
Ability to connect to the internet for daily data exchange.
For Driver portion: Current Drivers License with a clean driving record for the past 36 months.
Personal vehicle must meet state liability insurance requirements for business use.
Strong organizational critical thinking and teamwork skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with tact and professionalism.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and willing to learn new software.
Job Specific Duties:
Develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans using ongoing assessments to guide treatment.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients physical mental emotional and social status.
Conduct outpatient pediatric Modified Barium Swallowing Studys (MBSS).
Apply technical skills based on education and clinical competency standards.
Plan communicate and delegate therapy services efficiently and competently.
Provide treatment per established standards policies and procedures.
Complete admissions discharge evaluations and daily assessments while setting individual patient goals.
Ensure timely documentation following payer guidelines (Medicare private insurance Medicaid) and Montana practice standards.
Participate in department facility and community projects to enhance rehab services.
Meet productivity standards as outlined in department protocols.
Operate and maintain equipment according to department standards.
Uphold Speech Language/Pathology care standards and execute provider orders.
Respect patient diversity privacy and confidentiality during care.
Communicate any significant changes in patient condition to stakeholders promptly.
Document all clinical findings in compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
