Kitchen Production Associate
Full Time
Food is our specialty at Dorothy Lane Market and were proud to offer the very best. Our team of culinary professionals produce exquisite eats ranging from gourmet entrees to unique salads and made from scratch soups just to name a few. As we prepare for our upcoming location in Mason Ohio we are seeking skilled culinary candidates ready to take on fast-paced high-quality food production. We are looking experienced food professionals able to multitask and work through all aspects of DLM food production including:
- Hot Food Salad and Soup Production
- Grab and Go Production
- Food Prep
- Smoked Meat and Rotisserie Production
- Hot Bar Production
- Dish Room
What Youll Do:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using fresh high-quality ingredients
- Follow standardized recipes and portion controls
- Understand how products look and taste at their peak of perfection
- Assist with daily prep work including chopping marinating and baking
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at every step
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and timelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2 years of high-level food production experience (Institutional Hospital or Catering experience is a plus)
- Food safety expertise (certifications are a plus).
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong communication with team leadership and other departments
- Ability to read and follow recipes thoroughly
- A desire to make folks happy by providing Honestly Better Food and Service.
- A willingness to learn about and taste great food.
- A willingness to practice theDLM Team Values:Be Honest Safe Helpful and Hard-Working
- Basic mathematical skills.
- 18 years old or older.
- Holiday and weekend schedule availability.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
