Coordinate the housing construction projects as a Housing Construction Coordinator! Want to help participants received improvements to their homes Join our team as aHousing Construction Coordinatorand create real change! With hands-on training and certifications this role lets you grow your skills while helping your community.
WHAT YOULL DO:
Inspect and Advise: Visit homes to ensure their home meets the program guidelines.
Take Charge: Manage individual housing projects from start to finish with the day-to-day details.
Support the Homeowner: Ensure the participant is satisfied with the approved work financing and contractors.
Keep track of the Details: Prepare the required reports and track the updates for the projects.
Lead with Excellence: Represent our agencys mission and values in everything you do.
SKILLS TO WOW US:
A knack for understanding various housing situations construction management and building codes.
Stellar communication skillsyou can chat with homeowners contractors and community leaders like a pro.
Tech-savvy enough to handle basic computer tasks with ease.
Great at juggling priorities meeting deadlines and keeping the details organized.
The ability to oversee construction projects and ensure bid specifications are met.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1-2 years of post-secondary training in construction engineering or a related field.
3-5 years of experience OR a mix of education and experience that fits the bill.
A valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
