Job Description
Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Tucson AZ (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-Time Regular
Compensation: $80000 $95000 annually
We are seeking a capable and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Tucson AZ. This hybrid role is open only to local candidates and is best suited for someone ready to hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will have strong ERP experience (NetSuite is a plus) be actively involved in financial statement preparation and work well in a fast-paced hands-on environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage core month-end close activities including journal entries accruals and reconciliations
Prepare accurate monthly financial statements for review by senior leadership (Controller Director or CFO)
Assist with financial reporting variance analysis and forecasting
Work cross-functionally to streamline reporting processes and improve data accuracy
Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain internal controls
Contribute to ERP improvements and reporting automation initiatives
Requirements:
Degree in accounting
36 years of corporate accounting experience
ERP system experience required; NetSuite strongly preferred
Proficient in Excel including advanced functions like pivot tables and lookups
Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation
Must be based in Tucson and able to work a hybrid schedule
