• This role will be primarily focused on delivering a BAU / Project services within a shared service delivery model.

What Youll Do

• Technical Expertise
• Perform a range of complex technical work activities in SQL environment to meet business and customer requirements.
• Incident and change management.
• 3rd level incident and task support.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) efforts to resolve issues efficiently ensuring minimal downtime and high-quality service delivery.

What Youll Need

• Minimum of 11 years in managing maintaining and troubleshooting large enterprise environments.
• Installations configuration and security settings for SQL Server& 2022 servers.
• Upgrading/Migration the databases to SQL Server 2008R2 to& 2022 servers.
• Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the databases that support the system.
• Performing daily maintenance task for critical databases.
• Proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.
• Involved in troubleshooting resolving data integrity and monitoring performance issues.
• Handling Deadlock and blocking issues and troubleshooting accordingly.
• Responsible for planning and organizing database Database creation manage users password security privileges & roles performance tuning restoration user creation script running patch installation etc
• Handling the task of managing database structure storage allocation database access roles users and privileges.
• Maintaining and Creating logins users and giving permission to them as per request.
• Log checking Space management and migration of Data.
• Daily activities include monitoring Databases checking error logs checking the log file size and free space in the data drives connectivity of the databases
• Manage MSSQL Server databases like 2008 Retc. and Provide support for critical production systems.
• Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments from development to mission-critical production systems.
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes including monitoring of system health and performance to ensure high levels of performance availability and security.
• Independently analyse solve and correct issues in real time providing problem resolution end-to-end.
• Maintain backup and recovery process including disaster recovery performance and tuning of database and application Configuring and maintaining database servers and processes.
• Ensuring high levels of performance availability sustainability and security.
• Knowledge of Clustering Replication Mirroring Log shipping and Always on.
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server 2012/2014/2016/2019 & 2022.
• Expertise with Inplace upgrade and side by side Migration and Disaster recovery management.
• Experience in MS Windows Server 2008 Rand higher.
• Performing scheduled maintenance and supporting release deployment activities after hours.
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Refining and automating regular processes tracking issues and documenting changes.
• Providing 24x7 support for critical production systems.
• Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Basic PowerShell Management Module in MS SQL Server.
• Basics T-SQL knowledge.
• Be available for on-call support as needed.
