As a Senior Software Engineer Youll be at the forefront of developing transformative financial technology solutions that enable seamless global transactions. Our team is seeking a creative problem-solver who can design intelligent systems that support Amazons expanding international business ecosystem making tax compliance intuitive and efficient for millions of vendors.
A Day in the Life
Your day will be dynamic and impactful focusing on designing sophisticated software architectures that solve complex financial challenges. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams prototype innovative solutions and translate intricate business requirements into elegant technical implementations.
About the Team
We are a collaborative group of technologists passionate about creating world-class financial platforms. Our team drives innovation by developing scalable secure systems that support Amazons global business expansion. We value intellectual curiosity technical excellence and a commitment to solving complex technological challenges.
- 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
