This position is part of the Technical Sales and Business Development team for Chevron Base Oils. It provides technical support and assistance to support 3rd party base oil (BO) sales in Europe. Primary contact for Europe customers Supply Chain or BO team on product technical or quality issues.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
1) Manage Europe REACH activities & contracts. Evaluate other regulatory issues and certifications requested from customers
2) Maintain ISO 9001 certification for Europe and lead audit activities to support customers in IATF certification
3) Track/assist with investigations into product contamination issues
4) Perform blend calculations for tank blends at Europe hubs
5) Support Europe qualification work and technical data gathering
6) Manage sample requests from Europe customers
7) Assist Lead PD engineer with technology projects & scoping; may be asked to lead cross functional projects and teams
8) Supports European business development manager & Global Qualification Lead on industry committees
9) May be asked to organize conference contracts and logistics for Europe.
