Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Solutions Manager Security Systems to join our team. This role is critical in defining and managing security solutions from a platform perspective supporting bid work and providing project guidance. The ideal candidate may already be in a solutions management role or could be an experienced technical specialist looking to take the next step in their career. The Solutions Manager will work across key security subsystems including CCTV Video Analytics Video Management Platforms Public Address Access Control SCADA Telephony and must possess a strong understanding of network principles to ensure seamless integration and system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage integrated security solutions using multiple subsystems ensuring alignment with the customers requirements and industry best practices.
- Define security architecture and system requirements ensuring an optimum solution is offered by Alstom.
- Work closely with product suppliers and technical teams to optimise platform solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within security solutions.
Bid & Pre-Sales Support
- Support bid teams by providing technical and solution expertise for proposals.
- Define system architecture and high-level designs for bid submissions.
- Collaborate with sales commercial and engineering teams to create compelling technical solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
- Develop technical responses and presentations for customer engagements.
- You may be asked to provide project guidance during the deployment phase.
- Ensure project deliverables align with design specifications and customer requirements.
- Support quality assurance and compliance during the gate review process.
- Serve as the subject matter expert in CCTV Video Analytics Video Management Platforms Public Address Access Control SCADA Telephony.
- Ensure seamless integration of security subsystems within broader enterprise and network environments.
- Work closely with other teams to ensure compliance with network and cybersecurity policies.
Technical Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in designing / deploying security solutions with expertise in CCTV Video Analytics Video Management Platforms Public Address Access Control SCADA Telephony.
- Strong understanding of network principles including IP networking cybersecurity and data transmission protocols.
- Experience with industry standards and regulations related to security systems (e.g. ONVIF EN50132 NIST GDPR).
- Ability to work with vendors and suppliers to ensure system compatibility and integration.
- Familiarity with cloud-based security solutions and remote monitoring technologies is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
