Job Description

Planner

The Planner is responsible for coordinating material planning activities to ensure the timely availability of materials and components for production. This position supports inventory control purchasing coordination and scheduling tasks under the guidance of the Planning Manager or senior staff.

Your Challenge:

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of material plans and schedules to support production and customer requirements.

Monitor inventory levels and initiate material requests to maintain appropriate stock levels.

Collaborate with purchasing production and engineering teams to ensure smooth material flow.

Update and maintain data in material planning systems including ERP software.

Support the development and execution of production schedules.

Review order status and communicate any potential delays or shortages.

Follow established policies and procedures related to material planning and inventory management.


Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
What You Bring:

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Supply Chain or related field (or equivalent experience).

25 years of experience in materials planning scheduling or supply chain support.

Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle or similar).

APICS coursework or certification is an asset.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
