Due to the highly interactive and team-based nature of this role in-person attendance for most of the workweek (i.e. 3 days or more) is essential for: effective communication including during in-person meetings strong supervision real-time problem-solving and participation in cross-functional initiatives.

The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily inventory operations ensuring accurate inventory records minimizing discrepancies and maintaining efficient inventory processes. This role supervises inventory staff and coordinates with warehouse purchasing and logistics teams to ensure optimal inventory accuracy and availability.

Ways you will make a difference
Supervise and lead inventory control team members for safe and efficient production supply warehouse outside storage and all inbound and outbound shipments
Develop and manage daily weekly and monthly inventory control plans ensuring execution and follow-up
Lead root-cause investigations for inventory variances; implement corrective actions and continuous improvements
Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP ensuring data integrity of location configurations unit-of-measure settings Bill-of-Materials and transaction documentation
Oversee regular cycle counts audits and reconciliation of physical inventory
Coordinate with other departments (e.g. Warehouse Procurement Production) to ensure inventory accuracy and availability
Monitor and report key inventory metrics (e.g. shrinkage stock turns accuracy rate)
Facilitate training and development for team members on inventory processes policies and safety standards
Participate in physical inventories and provide leadership during inventory events

Experiences that will support your success
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Operations or related field preferred
3-5 years of experience in inventory control or supply chain in a manufacturing environment
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience required
Experience with cycle count programs physical inventory processes and variance resolution
Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP required
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma a plus
