CVOR RN

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) to join a leading surgical team in Reno NV. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular surgery and thrive in high-acuity team-driven operating room environments. This role involves scrubbing and/or circulating for a variety of open-heart and vascular procedures with a rotating on-call schedule.

• Assist with setup intraoperative support and post-procedure transition for cardiovascular surgical cases

• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons anesthesiologists and surgical techs in a sterile and efficient surgical environment

• Monitor patient status and advocate for patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout procedures

• Maintain accurate and timely intraoperative documentation in accordance with hospital policy

• Prepare and manage surgical instruments supplies and equipment specific to cardiac and thoracic procedures

• Comply with infection control protocols and all safety and regulatory standards

• Participate in on-call rotation including nights weekends and holidays as needed

• Active Nevada RN license or Compact RN license (Required)

• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA Required)

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience (Required)

• Experience scrubbing and/or circulating open-heart and vascular procedures (Preferred)

• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical techniques and OR protocols

• Ability to work in a high-stress fast-paced environment with precision and professionalism
