Overview
The MD DNB Medicine Consultant plays a pivotal role in any healthcare organization serving as an integral part of the medical team tasked with patient care and clinical excellence. This position involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality care. Working collaboratively with various specialists and healthcare professionals the consultant also contributes to developing clinical protocols and guiding medical practices within the facility. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and promote health education.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses in patients.
- Plan and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform routine check-ups and preventive screenings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality care.
- Provide guidance on lifestyle changes and preventive health measures.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and medical imaging results.

- Document all patient interactions and follow-ups accurately.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care protocols.

Required Qualifications
- MD or DNB in General Medicine from a recognized institution.
- State medical licensure and board certification in Internal Medicine.
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience post qualification.
- Strong background in patient care management.
- Proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in teaching or mentoring junior medical staff.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Adept at handling complex medical cases under pressure.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary team dynamics effectively.
- Knowledge of healthcare policies and regulations.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
