Job description
Were looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and help us build modern data-driven solutions. Youll play a key role in shaping our data strategy designing and implementing robust data pipelines and mentoring junior engineers. Your Responsibilities
- Design develop and implement scalable and maintainable data solutions on GCP.
- Lead the development and implementation of ETL/ELT processes using core GCP data services like BigQuery Dataflow Pub/Sub Cloud Composer
- Establish and maintain high standards for data quality and governance.
- Proactively identify and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
- Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to their professional development.
- Contribute to the overall data strategy of the company.
Job requirements
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 5 years of experience in data engineering with at least 3 years focused on GCP.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with core GCP data services like: BigQuery Dataflow Pub/Sub Cloud Composer
- Proven ability to design and implement complex data architectures (including data lakehouses and data warehouses).
- Strong skills in data modeling (especially Data Vault 2.0 database design and schema optimization
- English level: C1.
- ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Valuable Experience and Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD processes.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
Highly Desirable:
- Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer.
- Experience with IaC (Terraform).
- Experience with Dataplex
- Google certifications such as Google Professional Data Engineer and Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer are a plus.
