Job Description
Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive Quality Control & Quality Assurance to join a leading cosmetics manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials (RM) packaging materials (PM) and finished goods (FG) while supporting the development and implementation of quality systems and compliance processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct sampling and quality approval of commercial lots of raw materials (RM) packaging materials (PM) and finished goods (FG).
- Develop product specifications and quality methods in collaboration with the R&D team.
- Validate quality processes review production documents and ensure proper implementation of quality protocols.
- Release Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) for production batches.
- Identify and reject out-of-specification or defective materials in coordination with the procurement team.
- Document quality-related evidence including consumer complaints batch failures and production line issues.
- Evaluate and approve new RM & PM through specification checks visual inspection and measurement testing.
- Monitor deviations in production and initiate Problem Investigation Forms and prepare CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
- Conduct in-process quality checks (IPQC) and recommend required process changes to the production supervisor per QA guidelines.
- Prepare QA documentation for exports and customers as per their CQA (Customer Quality Assurance) specifications.
- Review and approve artworks for BOP (Bulk Outer Packing) and FOP (Final Outer Packing) in coordination with R&D.
Job Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: / or / in Chemistry.
- Experience: 13 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control(QC) within the personal care or FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of QA & QC functions including sampling IPQC BMR release and defect identification.
- Knowledge of evaluating and approving raw materials (RM) and packaging materials (PM) through specifications visual inspection and measurement testing.
- Experience in managing consumer complaints batch rejections and deviation handling through Problem Investigation Forms and CAPA preparation.
- Proficiency in preparing QA documentation for exports and meeting customer quality assurance (CQA) requirements.
- Familiarity with artwork review and approval for BOP (Bulk Outer Packing) and FOP (Final Outer Packing) in coordination with R& D.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Detail-oriented process-driven and committed to maintaining high compliance standards.
- Willingness to travel for audits inspections and quality-related vendor coordination.
