Description
The Forest Resources Inventory Information Management Solution (FRI IMS) streamlines the acquisition processing interpretation management and sharing of extensive data. This data suite includes interconnected high-resolution digital aerial imagery digital elevation data field-sampled data geographic information and additional forest information from various sources.

The FRI IMS Enhancement project aims to further improve the functionality usability and performance of FRI IMS by incorporating the following features:
- A centralized data storage system utilizing Databricks data lake and Azure Storage Account.
- Data exchange channels via a public-facing web application.
- A Data Processing and Data Scientist Platform that supports data acquisition processing and analysis using Databricks on the Azure cloud.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Senior Developer with expertise in Microsoft ASP .NET Python Javascript and Azure Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in building debugging and optimizing performance in web applications as well as hands-on experience with Azure Databricks. We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and can work independently to deliver high-quality solutions. and nbsp;
Key Responsibilities: and nbsp;
- Develop debug and maintain Microsoft ASP .NET web applications and Progressive Web Application (PWA) ensuring high performance scalability and security. and nbsp;
- Write clean maintainable and efficient code using Python Javascript for data processing and automation tasks. and nbsp;
- Design develop and optimize Azure Databricks solutions with a focus on performance tuning and best practices. and nbsp;
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and deploy end-to-end solutions on the Azure Cloud platform. and nbsp;
- Ensure cloud infrastructure is designed and maintained for maximum reliability scalability and performance. and nbsp;
- Participate in code reviews ensuring coding standards and best practices are followed. and nbsp;
- Develop DevOps deployment pipelines and improve CI/CD processes. and nbsp;
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack in both development and production environments. and nbsp;
- Perform performance tuning for web applications databases and cloud-based solutions. and nbsp;

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:
Required Qualifications: and nbsp;
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience). and nbsp;
- 5 years of professional development experience in Microsoft .NET (C# web applications. and nbsp;
- Strong proficiency in Python and other scripting languages such as Javascript with hands-on experience in data processing automation and cloud development. and nbsp;
- Proven expertise working with the Azure Cloud platform. and nbsp;
- and nbsp;2 years of experience with Azure Databricks including optimizing performance for big data workloads. and nbsp;
- In-depth understanding of web application architecture database management and API integrations. and nbsp;
- Experience in performance tuning of web applications databases and cloud solutions. and nbsp;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision demonstrating strong initiative and self-management. and nbsp;
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in both development and production. and nbsp;
- Strong communication skills able to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams. and nbsp;

Preferred Skills: and nbsp;
- Experience with and nbsp;CI/CD and nbsp;pipelines and Azure DevOps practices and nbsp;
- Familiarity with big data technologies and distributed computing environments. and nbsp;
- Experience with Azure Batch NoSQL databases or other Relational Database Management Systems preferably supporting spatial data types and functions and nbsp;
- Familiarity with ASP .NET front-end frameworks. and nbsp;
- Experience in security best practices and compliance on cloud platforms. and nbsp;
- Familiarity with .NET Mobile (e.g. MAUI) development and deployment of mobile apps to Android Play Store and Apple App Store.

- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including DevOps QA and product management.
