Are you a collaborative leader with a passion for growing nursing education where its needed most This role blends hands-on academic leadership with a mission-driven approach to nursing workforce development. As Site Dean you ll guide nursing faculty coordinate clinical partnerships and support the next generation of nurses in a unique community-embedded setting.
Provide leadership and day-to-day oversight of a nursing education site embedded within a local healthcare facility.
Support program implementation aligned with state board and accreditor standards.
Supervise instructional activities and assist with curriculum rollout faculty mentorship and compliance.
Act as the main point of contact for the clinical partner s HR team on student-employee matters.
Lead orientation student advising and intervention strategies for at-risk learners.
Participate in faculty hiring training scheduling and evaluation.
Coordinate clinical site readiness including approvals calendars and site visits.
Collect and analyze feedback from students and partner facilities to ensure ongoing quality.
Stay up to date on licensure requirements and support students on their journey to board exams.
A valid RN license in California (or the state where the site is located).
A Master s degree or higher with coursework in nursing education or administration.
At least 1 year of teaching experience in a board-approved nursing program.
Minimum 1 year of direct patient care experience as an RN (or equivalent Board-approved experience).
Strong leadership organizational and communication skills.
Comfort using tech tools like Zoom Teams and learning platforms (LMS).
A collaborative student-centered mindset.
