We are Hiring Basic Grade Respiratory Physiologist to our Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Follow departmental policies at all times and perform the assigned respiratory and sleep tests with the utmost safety.
- Perform preventative maintenance quality assurance and calibration on a regular basis.
- Inform the senior staff member of any unusual or inconsistent results and if required take corrective action.
- As needed conduct instruction and get the patient ready for operations.
- Keep thorough and up-to-date patient records so that past and present test results can be quickly retrieved as needed. Perform secretarial tasks as needed.
- Observe manufacturer recommendations and infection control best practice guidelines when it comes to cleaning and maintaining equipment.
- Attend in-service presentations to keep your knowledge and abilities up to date such as those on fire safety CPR lifting and other topics.
Requirements
- The applicant needs to hold the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Sciences (IICMS) certified Bachelor of Science in Clinical Measurement Science from Technological University Dublin (TUD) or an equivalent degree.
- Hold a Level 8 equivalent scientific qualification that has been validated by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science (IICMS).
- A minimum of one years experience in a comparable setting.
- Experience with a clinical placement that is pertinent
